(b.1957)
Ram Partap Verma hails from Bhiwani, Haryana. His passion for figurative and nature forms of art inculcates from his childhood experiences he gained from his hometown. The beauty and royalty of ‘Havelis’ in Bhiwani fascinated him during his initial years as an artist. He has drawn lots of realistic figures on the walls in association with a city-based painter.
His paintings are based on human feelings. Some of the themes on which he is working are hypocrisy, and female & nature forms. Currently he is working on diplomacy— the diplomacy, which starts from home, and with a cup of tea. His paintings depict that there is always a reason for everyone to invite people for a cup of tea. He has termed this collection as “TEA DIPLOMACY.” He is also working on his new subject “THOUGHT PROCESS.” His paintings act as a medium for depicting how the thought works and how synchronization of thoughts occur.
He uses acrylic and pigment colours. He applies both the combinations of complimentary and contrast colours, depending upon the choice of forms and subject.
