Meenakshi Jha Banerjee is best known for her experimentation with the Mithila art forms. She has evolved a style of her own where feelings, emotions, elements, intricacies and tradition of Madhubani paintings are merged with current subjects. She prefers working with acrylic on stretched canvas and paper. Every piece of her work has minute and intricate detailing which reflects the skill and multiple layering/patching on selective areas.
