Mahirwan Mamtani is well known for his conception of “Centrovision” based on geometrical mandala form which he painted from 1970 to 1990. Later, faces started appearing in his work. About the use of his luminous colours, he explains black as representing the void with all potential colours contained in it. Blue to him is the colour of a higher frequency. Yellow is the colour of light with the potential for both positive and negative change.
