16th to 30th Jun 2013
This fortnight IndianArtCollectors showcases the works of artist Babli Keshri on it Featured Artist list. Since her childhood she has been deeply inclined to the beauty of nature. Tree, leaves, clay, soil are objects that inspired her to portray her fascination into various inventive forms. She started on this journey from childhood by making dolls & toys of clay. Later, she got acquainted with Patachitras. These Pata paintings attracted her immensely and encouraged her to drawing. It is from here that art became an integral part of the life of Babli Keshari and she aspired to become an artist. We can see that her canvases are mainly painted in Acrylics and have mostly to do with nature and the beauty of the feminine form.
